Don’t Cancel Class

Instead of canceling class, have you ever thought about inviting an office under the Division of Student Life to provide your class with a unique session or program on a topic of your choosing?

The Division of Student Life seeks to be your partner in the education of our students. If a situation occurs in which you need to cancel class either well in advance or with short notice, know that we are available to provide workshops on an array of topics.

Our sessions include a variety of topics ranging everywhere from consent, to resume building, to the importance of maintaining integrity. The sessions vary in length and help your students learn more about the variety of resources UT offers.

How it Works:

Browse workshops offered and submit a request in the column provided. You will be contacted by a staff member once your request is received to confirm your request and clarify any questions.

Our staff will meet with your class, provide the workshop, and is able to take attendance at your request. Please take note of the advanced notice required, as this varies for each workshop.

General questions about this program can be directed to Ashleigh Moyer at amoyer@utk.edu or 974-5455
