Faculty Women's Club Scholarship

PROGRAM DESCRIPTION

The Faculty Women's Club is offering a $1500 scholarship for the 2012-2013 academic year. The scholarship may be used during any two of the Fall, Spring, and Summer semesters ($750 per semester). The selection will be made by the Scholarship Committee of the Dean of Students. The award may be renewed each year for a maximum of six semesters within three years, provided the recipient maintains a minimum 3.0 GPA each semester. It may be discontinued if a recipient withdraws from the University or fails to remain eligible for continuing his or her studies.

SELECTION CRITERIA

To be eligible, a student must:

• Be an adult student
• Be currently enrolled either part-time or full-time
• Must have previously completed 2 semesters of coursework with a minimum of 6 hours each semester (at least 6 hours must have been completed during the 2011-2012 academic year)
• Must have a 3.0 GPA for all prior semesters' work
• Must be a degree-seeking student, and may not already hold a baccalaureate degree
• The recipient does not have to be a U.S. citizen
