In the News: Tanisha Jenkins Named to “40 Under 40” List

The Division of Student Life is honored to congratulate Tanisha Jenkins, director of Multicultural Student Life, for being named as one of Knoxville’s 40 under 40 class of 2018.  Tanisha joins 39 impactful leaders, making a difference in Knoxville and at the University of Tennessee.

Tanisha has served as the director of Multicultural Student Life since 2012, promoting academic success, leadership development, and equality for all students on our campus.

Notable Multicultural Student Life contributions to our campus community include the Multicultural Peer Mentoring Program, advising and supporting the Black Cultural Programming Committee, the Book Loan Program, and diversity programming that provides culturally diverse dialogues, events, and leadership opportunities for students and the greater UT community.
