The Division of Student Life at the University of Tennessee is happy to introduce Laura Ketola and Jacquelyn Ledford as assistant directors of the Jones Center for Leadership and Service.
Laura Ketola is originally from Franklin, TN and did both her undergraduate and master’s degree here at the University of Tennessee. You could say that she is All Vol! She most recently came back to UT from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill where she worked with leadership programming. In her new role, she works with the Leadership Knoxville Scholars Program, VOLServe, MLK Jr. Day of Service, CMJ Student Leadership Conference, Leadership and Service Ambassadors, and community partnerships. In her free time, she enjoys exploring Knoxville with friends, going to the farmers market, and hanging out with her pup, Ellie.
Jacquelyn Ledford, was born in a small mining town in Northern California called Placerville, raised in the hot, hot heat of Phoenix, AZ. She attended undergrad at Northern Arizona University (NAU) and graduated in 2013 with a dual degree in Political Science and Public Relations. Ledford received master’s degree in College Student Personnel from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville (Go VOLS!), formerly worked at NAU in advising and career services, and the University of Utah in Student Leadership and Involvement working with student government and leadership education. She spends free time hiking, camping, and backpacking in the outdoors, drinking coffee on porches with friends, and cooking lots of food!
