Ski and Snowboarding Trip

Join RecSports on their new UT Outdoor Pursuits annual ski trip! This year, they are going to Steamboat Springs, Colorado. You will find almost 3,000 acres and 165 named trails to explore!

This destination includes a base elevation of 6,900 feet, summit of 10,568 feet, 14% beginner, 42% intermediate, and 44% advanced runs. Plus, an average of 336 inches of snowfall each year. There is plenty more to explore off the mountain as well. The resort and surrounding areas have a nice collection of mountain-living experiences to complement your shredding. They are partnering with UT Chattanooga for this trip, so be sure to also share this experience with your friends in Knoxville and UTC!

CliftonStrengths Team

This team was established in fall 2016 when the Center for Career Development partnered with the Center for Leadership and Service (now Clay and Debbie Jones Center for Leadership and Service). Their mission is to create a strengths-based campus culture by incorporating programs and workshops for classes, training sessions, retreats, and staff meetings. They have facilitated over 55+ programs on campus serving about 914 students and staff combined.

This year’s team is made up of 41 professional staff members from a variety of departments across campus.

Meet the Greeks

Meet the Greeks is an event for students to learn more about Multicultural Greek Council-MGC and National Pan-Hellenic Council-NPHC/D9 fraternal organizations that up lift cultural celebration, mattering and belonging, and leadership/personal development.

It will be held on Wednesday, August 21 in the new Student Union Room 272 B at 6 p.m. Make sure to come learn about and interact with the different multicultural Greek organizations on our campus!

Student Organization Travel Fund

Ever wanted to travel to an event that your student organization was invited to but you weren’t sure how you were going to raise enough money for the funding? The Student Organization Travel Fund is here to help. This program is offered to any registered student organization that have a need to travel off campus, regional, state, or to competitions to represent the university. There are guidelines and criteria for what falls under being funded by the travel fund.
