Introducing the PRIDElist

The PRIDElist is a campus-wide initiative focused on raising the visibility of the LGBTQ+ community and its allies at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville. The goal of the PRIDElist is to ensure that our LGBTQ+ students feel welcome, supported, and at home here on Rocky Top.

The PRIDElist asks members of the LGBTQ+ community, or someone who identifies as an ally to the community, to sign the list! You do not have to identify in the community to sign, just be a UT student, staff or faculty member, or alumni. Participation in the PRIDElist initiative is voluntary.

Sign this year’s list by September 25, 2019! The full list of supporters will be published in October, in conjunction with LGBTQ+ History Month, through the Daily Beacon and online on the Pride Center website.

With the PRIDElist, we hope to demonstrate to our students and campus community that they are not alone during their time here at Rocky Top but in fact surrounded by faculty, staff, fellow students, and alums that care about their identities and are passionate about making UT a more inclusive place.

We hope you will take a minute to add your name to the 2019 PRIDElist and help kick off this new campus tradition. Every single name counts toward our goal of being welcoming to all and hostile to none.
