Campus Events Board Wins Awards at the National Association for Campus Activities Regional Conference

Six members of the Campus Events Board and their advisors had the opportunity to attend the Annual NACA South Conference on September 26 – 29th in Chattanooga, Tennessee. The National Association for Campus Activities regional conference features educational sessions, talent showcases of potential campus entertainment, and networking opportunities.

The Campus Events Board and the Asian American Association won the award for Outstanding Multicultural Program for the 2019 “865 Night Market”. 865 Night Market rounds out the end of each Culture Week at the end of March and features a number of student organizations highlighting Asian American culture.

The Campus Events Board also won Best Social Media Campaign by a student for their “Humans of UTK” campaign used to promote Culture Week.

The Campus Events Board would also like to highlight Patrick Lamb for creating their Spring 2019 Calendar, which won Best Calendar in the professionally designed category.
