2019 Homecoming Events

Homecoming is a special time at UT. A time full of traditions and fun, Homecoming allows for the past to meet the present with alumni and students coming together to celebrate everything UT. From chalking Ped Walkway to Stompfest, there are tons of events to get you in the Homecoming mood!

Chalk Ped Walk

Grab your friends and head out to Ped Walkway on Sunday, Oct. 27 to create your own artwork! Teams will be assigned spaces on Pedestrian Walkway to create a design with chalk to promote Homecoming Week, UT spirit, and the Homecoming theme.

Get in the Volunteer spirit and join us for a Service Fair to meet community partners looking for students to engage in service!

Mr. and Miss Freshman Pageant

One of Multicultural Student Life’s most popular events, the annual Freshmen Pageant allows first-year students to showcase their personalities and talents to the UT student body.

Homecoming Bonfire

Join SGA for a celebration of all things Vols and Rocky Top in your best spooky gear at the Homecoming Bonfire. Grab a s’more and a slice of pizza and spook out!

Homecoming Parade

You won’t want to miss the annual Homecoming parade including the Homecoming floats, the spirit squad, the band, and more! Our Little Vols will march in the parade on their orange-and-white on tricycles, in wagons, in strollers, and on foot. Arrive early for the best viewing spot. More parade route details coming soon!

Annual Southeastern Stomp Fest

Southeastern Stomp fest is a signature homecoming event hosted by Multicultural Student Life. Stomp fest is an opportunity for the UT student body, alumni, and Knoxville community to enjoy high energy stepping performances by NPHC Fraternities and Sororities.
