How to Thrive and Engage on Rocky Top

Let’s face it: this semester looks really different from what you probably expected. The good news is that there are still plenty of ways to get the most out of your on-campus experience! Check out the resources below to learn how!

Calendar.utk.edu

The number one way to find out what’s happening on campus is visiting calendar.utk.edu! This list is full of events, both in-person and virtual, that you can participate in this fall. Want to know what fitness classes are going on today? Want to catch a movie on the Union Plaza? Or maybe you want to see if there’s Painting with a Twist event on campus. The campus calendar is the place to look!

Departments and organizations from across campus are adding events every day to make sure you find friends, groups, and activities to help you get engaged on campus.

Vol Life App

Oh, you’re looking for another great place to find events? The Vol Life app is another great resource! On the free Vol Life app, in the Student Engagement 2020 guide, you get a look into what events are being hosted today, learn how to register for those events, and are able to add those events to your Vol Life schedule! That way, you don’t miss a thing.
