Student Life will be hosting Smokey’s Game Day Experience: a viewing party of the home games this season. We want to be sure that you get the chance to watch the game with your friends and fellow students.
Smokey’s Game Day Experience will be on hosted each Saturday home game on the TRECS Turf Field, complete with food, social distancing, and a jumbotron with the best Saturday entertainment: your Tennessee Volunteers! Up to 50 students can request tickets, and you may bring up to three other students as your guests (up to 200 total in attendance)! To make sure we maintain proper distancing, the field will be set with 50 10X10 ft tablecloths with six feet of space in between that will indicate seating for you and your guests. Each space will be numbered 1-50. Your group is also more than welcome to bring your own blankets and chairs but remember to remain in 10X10ft tablecloth space. The gates will open two hours before kick-off to allow for plenty of time to get hyped for the game!
As you arrive, you will be guided through can Aramark catering station under the pavilion to pick up pre-packaged concessions meal. You are asked to wear your mask at all times unless you’re eating so that just means you’ll have to cheer extra loud for our Vols! Concessions will be catered and consist of served pre-packaged hot dogs, drinks, and a bag of chips. Distribution will be scheduled for the start of the game to limit traffic.
Keep in mind that the clear bag policy will be enforced, the same as Neyland Stadium. This event will only occur outside. That means that if rain or a storm starts to roll in, the event will be canceled. A rain call will be made at least 24 hours prior to the event if inclement weather is predicted.
