Academic Opportunities

Student Life is dedicated to supporting students interested in the student affairs field. We are dedicated to furthering education and professional development opportunities through graduate assistantships, national association partnerships, and academic programs.

Graduate Assistantships

The Division of Student Life partners with the College Student Personnel program to offer graduate assistantship positions designed for students pursuing a career in student affairs or a related field. Departments from across UT participate in a recruitment weekend, offering candidates the opportunity to explore a variety of opportunities to grow professionally and gain critical experience to complement their academic program.

NASPA Undergraduate Fellows Program (NUFP)

The NUFP program in the Division of Student Life allows students interested in student affairs to have opportunities for scholarships, on-campus mentorship, and professional development events. Typically offered in the summer, this program increases the number of historically disenfranchised and underrepresented professionals in student affairs and/or higher education.
