Student away game football tickets are purchased through the student ticket portal. Away game ticket purchasing is a three-step process.

Step 1: Purchase a Ticket

Ticket vouchers for away games during the 2022 season will be made available for purchase on a first-come, first-served basis. There is no lottery process for away games.

The open sales period for away games will begin one month before the game, on Thursday morning at 9 a.m., and end the following week on Wednesday at 4 p.m. For sales period details, please see the Football Ticket Distribution Schedule.

During the request period, eligible students may request one student ticket and one away game guest ticket.

Tickets are purchased by going to the student ticket portal, following the links for purchasing away game tickets and completing the necessary payment information. Acceptable forms of payment are Visa and Mastercard.

Step 2: Print Ticket Voucher—Away Games Only

You need access to a printer to print your away game ticket voucher. Please use white paper only when you print your football ticket. Do not use colored, textured, or watermarked paper. Be sure the ink or toner cartridge in your printer is not low. Incomplete, lined, streaked, or faded (red or pink in color) bar codes will not scan properly. Once you have printed the voucher, you must redeem and exchange it for a ticket at a date, time, and location to be determined.

The voucher will bear the student’s name, event description, event date, and a verification bar code.

Step 3: Pick Up Ticket—Away Games Only

Once you have printed the voucher, you must take the voucher to the Student Union to pick up your ticket. Details about ticket distribution location will be emailed to you after the end of the game’s sales period.

You will need to present your VolCard along with the voucher to obtain the ticket. Tickets must be picked up during the times specified on the schedule.

If you want someone else to pick up your away game ticket for you, or if someone else wants you to pick up their away game ticket for them, we use pickupmytix.utk.edu for all away games. Instructions on how to designate someone to pick up your ticket can be found at pickupmytix.utk.edu.

Please note that pickupmytix.utk.edu is not a ticketing system and is intended only for students who have actually purchased a ticket.
