If you’re looking to get involved during your time at UT and want to flex your journalism skills, be sure to check out Student Media! Within Student Media, there are several different ways to get involved. Student Media encompasses different departments that range from The Daily Beacon, Phoenix literary magazine, the advertising department, and the Lumos video team. All these departments work both independently and collaboratively to create news, advertising, and media content.
Student Media offers leadership opportunities to students, from learning how to work with deadlines, manage advertising clients, and work with their peers. Students have walked across the graduation stage looking back on their student media experience with pride.
