By connecting students to university and community resources, we develop a plan with the student that supports self-advocacy, growth, and a return to a level of functioning most likely to promote success.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Overview of Services&nbsp;<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Each student who interacts with the Center for Care and Resilience&nbsp; requires different services and resources. The center staff adjusts services based on the support the student needs. That may include:&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Consulting with faculty\/staff about students in distress.&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Providing basic mental health support to students.&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Supporting student recovery during times of illness or injury.&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Supporting students experiencing food and\/or housing insecurity or financial distress.&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Working with students to solve problems and develop self-efficacy.&nbsp;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">To serve the campus community, the center also provides presentations to faculty, staff, and student organizations about our services or other relevant mental health and wellness topics. The center also serves as a training and internship destination for undergraduate and graduate students pursuing helping fields.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Care coordination is free to any currently enrolled undergraduate or graduate student. Students can contact us directly without a referral.
