There are countless ways to get around Rocky Top! You can easily walk or bike to class, catch a bus to get across campus, ride the trolley downtown, or drive your car and park on campus. No matter your preferred method of transportation, you can easily find your way using the UT campus map.
Walk on Rocky Top
Walking across our beautiful campus is the most popular way to travel on Rocky Top. Pedestrian Walkway winds through the center of campus, passing by big checkpoints such as Clarence Brown Theater, Hodges Library, the Student Union, Neyland Stadium, and The Hill. Sidewalks, crosswalks, and greenspace make our campus a beautiful place for pedestrians.

Bicycles are also a Volunteer favorite, and bike racks are easy to find. UT offers a Bike Shop inside the Outdoor Center at TRECS, where you can rent a bike, purchase bicycle parts, register your bicycle, and learn how to maintain your bicycle from knowledgeable staff. In addition, UT has made bike life even easier by offering repair stations at Volunteer Hall, Brown Hall, Massey Hall, and Laurel Hall.
Ride the T
UT offers tons of transit routes with varying schedules to meet your needs. The T bus routes are updated through the UT Campus Map or on the UT Mobile App so that your next bus is never far away.
