All Campus Events
All Campus Events (ACE) is an organization created and run for the benefit of the students, faculty, alumni, and community at the University of Tennessee, ACE’s mission is to provide fun, safe and inclusive events to foster the competitive and fun-loving spirits of our participants. ACE strives to not only maintain but amplify and enrich the traditions that our fellow Volunteers have enjoyed for years and will continue to enjoy for years to come. ACE is advised by staff in the Center for Student Engagement.
Black Cultural Programming Committee
The Black Cultural Programming Committee (BCPC) is a student organization that develops and presents cultural programs and activities that enhance and promote awareness of African American culture and its accomplishments. BCPC is a department-sponsored student organization associated with the Office of Multicultural Student Life. Through its programming, BCPC fosters an atmosphere for unity, diversity, and interaction among students, faculty and staff. BCPC sponsors various cultural, recreational, and social activities including appearances by Hill Harper, Harry Belafonte, Debbie Allen, Donna Brazile, Alvin Ailey Dance Theatre, Lisa Leslie, Spike Lee, and Dr. Maya Angelou. Getting involved with BCPC as a volunteer or a member provides an opportunity to learn about programming, teamwork, leadership, and African American culture.
Campus Events Board
The Center for Student Engagement works with assistance from student leaders on the Campus Events Board (CEB) to provide a balanced and diverse range of events that engages students and fosters an inclusive campus culture at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville. From speakers to comedians, interactive activities to concerts, the aim of this programming is to provide space for students to connect and engage with the campus community throughout the year.
Multicultural Mentoring Program
The Multicultural Mentoring Program (MMP) is designed to provide personal support, assistance, social guidance, and positive campus survival skills to first-year students. This organization is also sponsored by the Office of Multicultural Student Life. Peer mentors serve as valuable resources to program participants by encouraging a positive transition to campus life and academic success. MMP coordinates events and activities that help facilitate academic success, adjustment to campus life, and promote student involvement.
Order of Omega
Honoring the top 3% of Greek leaders and scholars at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, Order of Omega is a leadership honor society for members of Sorority & Fraternity organizations.Order of Omega recognizes upperclassmen who have exemplified high standards in the areas of scholarship, leadership, involvement within their respective organization, on campus, and within the local community. Policies and standards related to membership intake and chapter management are advised through the Office of Sorority and Fraternity Life which works in conjunction with the organization’s national administration. Order of Omega is supported by the Office of Sorority and Fraternity Life and as such, must comply with the policies and expectations of the office which can be found on their website.
Psi Society
Psi Society is an organization for members of social sororities and fraternities on Rocky Top to educate their peers in the campus community on topics of leadership, health, and safety from a Greek-centric lens. Members of Psi Society are nominated by their peers, go through an interview process, and are identified as leaders within the community who are passionate about topics of wellness, risk management, and leadership. Psi Society serves the community by planning educational events for the campus. Psi Society is supported by the Office of Sorority and Fraternity Life and as such, must comply with the policies and expectations of the office which can be found on their website.
