Center for Career Development and Academic Exploration<\/a><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The center provides career-related programs, resources, and services to students and alumni. It helps students choose majors, find jobs and internships, and navigate graduate school admissions. Additionally, the center supports students in gaining career readiness and successfully preparing for their post-graduation goals. University Exploratory students receive academic advising from coaches in the career center.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Center for Global Engagement<\/a><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The Center for Global Engagement (CGE) serves as the central global hub for the university, providing resources and support for education abroad opportunities, international and intercultural programming, global research, international student and scholar services, English language study, developing and managing international partnerships, and much more.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

CGE is organized into six major units, with the English Language Institute, Global Research, Innovation, and Partnerships, Global Security, Risk, and Resilience, and International Student and Scholar Services reporting directly to Dr. Gretchen Neisler, Vice Provost for International Affairs, while Dr. Will Jennings, Associate Vice Provost of Global Learning and Impact, directs the International House and Programs Abroad in creating high-impact opportunities for UT Students.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

With approximately 1,200 international students from over 100 different countries, some 500 international scholars, and more than 2,000 UT students studying abroad every year, CGE keeps UT connected around the world.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Division of Student Life<\/a><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The Division of Student Life is charged with improving student life at the University of Tennessee. Its various departments encompass many different aspects of university life but all work toward one goal\u2014providing students with an engaging and enlightening atmosphere of living and learning. The division is committed to an uncompromising respect for diversity, strong partnerships with university programs, and support of the university\u2019s academic mission. The mission of Student Life is to develop student-centered opportunities that contribute to a transformative Volunteer experience. These experiences create a climate in which learning, caring, mattering and belonging, and leadership and engagement can thrive.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Vice Chancellor for Student Life oversees the departments in the Division of Student Life. These units offer programs and services that assist and support students in their life outside the classroom: Center for Health Education and Wellness<\/a>, Jones Center for Leadership and Service<\/a>, Center for Student Engagement<\/a>, Office of Campus Culture and Community<\/a>, Office of the Dean of Students<\/a>, Office of Sorority and Fraternity Life<\/a>, RecSports<\/a>, Student Conduct & Community Standards<\/a>, Student Counseling Center<\/a>, Student Disability Services<\/a>, Student Government Association<\/a>, Student Health Center<\/a>, Center for Care and Resilience<\/a>, Student Union,<\/a> and University Housing<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Office of the Dean of Students<\/a><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The Office of the Dean of Students assists students through advocacy, support, and mattering and belonging. Programs and services help students successfully navigating through the UT campus community. The Office of the Dean of Students oversees the following areas:<\/p>\n\n\n\n
