Center for Student Engagement<\/a><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The Center for Student Engagement enriches the\u00a0student\u00a0experience through opportunities for personal growth, learning, belonging, and connection. Clarence Brown Theatre<\/a><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The Clarence Brown Theatre Company is the professional theatre in residence at\u00a0UT\u00a0working hand in hand with the Department of Theatre to produce live theatre. Together, they create work in three venues: the 550-seat Clarence Brown Theatre, the\u00a0state-of-the-art\u00a0and flexible Jenny Boyd Theatre, and the Lab Theatre, an intimate space dedicated to experimental and student-driven work.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Jones Center for Leadership & Service<\/a><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The Jones Center for Leadership and Service serves as UT\u2019s clearinghouse for leadership and service, making visible the curricular and co-curricular pathways available to students across campus. The Jones Center coordinates opportunities for leader and leadership development, from its own programs to college-specific initiatives, community engagement, and volunteerism. The Jones Center also celebrates the outstanding leadership and service happening across\u00a0UT\u00a0through awards, scholarships, and recognition.\u00a0Students are supported in finding the development opportunities and pathways that best fit their goals and interests.\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

McClung Museum of Natural History & Culture<\/a><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The McClung Museum is a place to explore, learn, and connect through free exhibitions, engaging programs, and\u00a0special events. Each year, thousands of UT students and faculty\u00a0participate\u00a0in class visits, object-based learning, tours, guest lectures, and research using the museum’s collections. Students can also gain valuable professional experience through internships, student employment, the McClung Student Advisory Board, and other hands-on opportunities. First-Year Experience<\/a><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

First-Year Experience,\u00a0in partnership with the UT community, fosters\u00a0student success by engaging students and families in the Volunteer Experience. Located in the\u00a0Division of Student Success<\/a>, our office provides students and families with meaningful experiences and communications in order to support the onboarding and transition of new students throughout their entire first year. Programs include New Vol Experience and First-Year Seminars.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Natalie L. Haslam College of Music<\/a><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The Natalie L. Haslam College of Music hosts over 200 events each year, with most held in the beautiful Sandra G. Powell Recital Hall or the James R. Cox Auditorium. The events feature extremely talented students in recitals and various large and chamber ensembles, as well as our world-class faculty and guest artists and lecturers. Additionally, all UT students are welcome to join our wide selection of ensembles in the college; students do not have to be music majors to participate. Many of our ensembles offer course credits. You can find more information on our ensemble information webpage<\/a>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Student Union<\/a><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The Student Union serves as a living room for campus bringing students, staff, faculty, and guests together to build community. Hosting\u00a0more than 8,500\u00a0meetings and events a\u00a0year, it\u00a0is the primary location for student organization gatherings. The second and third floors offer relaxing and non-traditional study spaces, and a commuter and off-campus student lounge on the G3 level near VolBooks caters\u00a0to students looking for a spot between classes to warm up their lunches. Many Student Life offices\u00a0are located in\u00a0the Student Union, including the Jones Center for Leadership and Service, the Center for Student Engagement, the Office of the Dean of Students,\u00a0and\u00a0the Office of Sorority and Fraternity Life. There are also several tenants offering a variety of services including the VolShop, VolBooks, VolSnacks, and VolTech stores; eight campus dining retail outlets,\u00a0UCopy, a game room, and a contract U.S. Post Office.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Office of Advancement<\/a><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The Advancement Division exists to empower our campus to dream. The division cultivates philanthropy, transforms students\u2019 lives through private support, and nurtures alumni connections.
