{"id":237,"date":"2014-08-09T17:12:29","date_gmt":"2014-08-09T17:12:29","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/homecoming.utk.edu\/?page_id=6"},"modified":"2025-11-19T13:47:37","modified_gmt":"2025-11-19T18:47:37","slug":"home","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/studentlife.utk.edu\/homecoming\/","title":{"rendered":"Home"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><p class=\"lead\">Homecoming is a time for all Volunteers to come together and celebrate the history, traditions, and spirit of the University of Tennessee.<\/p>\n<hr class=\"orange-hash\">\n<h2>Join us for Homecoming, November 9-November 15, 2025!<\/h2>\n<div class=\"half \">\n<p>Each year, a new theme breathes fresh excitement into Homecoming festivities, and in 2025, the theme <em>Torchbearers &amp; Trailblazers<\/em> will do just that. This year&#8217;s theme promises to illuminate the Volunteer spirit like never before, capturing the energy of being under the Neyland Stadium lights and uniting alumni, students, and the campus community. Homecoming is planned by a campus-wide committee of volunteers and provides countless opportunities to engage in this rejuvenated Volunteer spirit and feel at home on Rocky Top.<\/p>\n<p>Homecoming is a great time for alumni to reconnect to the campus and reunite with old friends. It is also a great time for current students to celebrate what makes the university truly unique and outstanding. What began in 1794 as a small college in the Southwest Territory is now Tennessee\u2019s flagship university and premier public research institution. Join us in the UT tradition of dyeing the Europa and the Bull fountain orange. The rally will get you excited for the rest of Homecoming week with spirit items, snacks, and more.
