History of the Frieson Black Cultural Center
The Frieson Black Cultural Center (FBCC) is a popular student programming and support building located on Melrose Avenue and has meeting rooms to help provide for the gathering and programming needs of the campus and community.
African American Hall of Fame
The university unveiled the African American Hall of Fame in 1994. The Hall of Fame, housed in the Black Cultural Center, recognizes African Americans who have made important contributions to the University of Tennessee.
