The Office of Multicultural Student Life collaborates with student organizations and other campus partners to coordinate events and programs for several heritage months throughout the year.
Black History Month
February is Black History Month and the campus community has curated several events and programs to celebrate.
Asian & Pacific Islander Heritage Month
During the month of May, Asian American and Pacific Islander Heritage Month recognizes the contribution and influence of Asian and Pacific Islander heritage and culture in the United States.
Hispanic Latinx Heritage Month
Hispanic Latinx Heritage Month is observed from September 15 – October 15 and is an opportunity to celebrate Latin heritage and culture, as well as educate the UT community on the importance of Hispanic Latinx heritage and culture.
Native American & Indigenous Heritage Month
Native American & Indigenous Heritage Month is celebrated in November and is an opportunity to learn about rich and diverse cultures, traditions, and histories and to acknowledge the important contributions of Native people.
