For details about the SPSF, visit <a href=\"https:\/\/onestop.utk.edu\/billing-payments\/tuition-detail\/\" id=\"https:\/\/onestop.utk.edu\/billing-payments\/tuition-detail\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">One Stop<\/a>. This mandatory fee is not an insurance charge.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Some services, such as laboratory tests, X-rays, immunizations, medications, and medical supplies, may have additional charges.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Students are <strong>not<\/strong> charged for an office visit with medical or mental health providers.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">What services have associated costs?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Students <strong>are<\/strong> charged for&nbsp;additional&nbsp;services such as&nbsp;(but not limited to):\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Physical Therapy&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Lab Work&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>X-rays<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Durable medical goods&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Vaccines&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Shipping of medications&nbsp;at the end of a semester&nbsp;to student homes&nbsp;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Note<\/strong>: The Student Health Center does not file private insurance, and students&nbsp;are responsible for&nbsp;the costs of&nbsp;additional&nbsp;services<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 id=\"preventativevaccines\" class=\"wp-block-heading\">Cost for Preventative Vaccines <\/h3>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-columns is-layout-flex wp-container-core-columns-is-layout-002ffff5 wp-block-columns-is-layout-flex\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\">\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Hepatitis A\u00a0\u2013\u00a0Havrix\u00a0\u2013 $92<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Hepatitis B\u00a0\u2013\u00a0Engerix\u00a0\u2013 Adult doses \u2013 $64<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>MMR\u00a0(Measles, Mumps, and Rubella Vaccine)\u00a0\u2013 $101<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\">\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Td\u00a0(Tetanus\/Diphtheria)\u00a0\u2013 $50<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Tdap (Tetanus\/Diphtheria\/Pertussis)<strong>\u00a0<\/strong>\u2013\u00a0Adacel\u00a0\u2013 $59<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<h3 id=\"labservices\" class=\"wp-block-heading\">Laboratory Services Fee&nbsp;<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Most routine lab tests performed at the Student Health Center cost less than $33, with some tests available for as little as $5. Examples of laboratory test charges include:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-columns is-layout-flex wp-container-core-columns-is-layout-002ffff5 wp-block-columns-is-layout-flex\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\">\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Flu &amp; COVID &#8211; $13<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Mono &#8211; $22<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Strep &#8211; $34<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Complete Blood Count (CBC) &#8211; $20<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Pap Smear &#8211; $116<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Electrocardiogram (EKG) &#8211; $15<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\">\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Chlamydia &amp; Gonorrhea (GC), urine or swab &#8211; $20<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>HIV &#8211; $17<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Complete Blood Count (CBC), in-house &#8211; $20<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Urinalysis &#8211; $7<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">These are not all-inclusive lists of available labs, and all prices are subject to change without notice.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"physicaltherapy\">Physical Therapy Fee<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Physical therapy visits are $30.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 id=\"radiologyservices\" class=\"wp-block-heading\">Radiology Services Fee<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">All radiologic exams are obtained digitally so that our HCPs may&nbsp;immediately&nbsp;review the exam upon completion and provide&nbsp;an initial&nbsp;interpretation.
