Then, stay with the individual until help arrives. If you are under the influence and worried about calling for fear you or others may get in trouble, please know the university provides amnesty to students seeking help in these situations. Amnesty applies to the impaired student(s) and any good Samaritan(s) under the influence of alcohol and\/or other drugs.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Impaired Student:<\/strong> student(s) in need of emergency medical attention due to alcohol or other substance use.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Good Samaritan:<\/strong> student(s) that seek help for the impaired student(s).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>Amnesty can apply to:<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li><span class=\"OYPEnA text-decoration-none text-strikethrough-none\">More than one impaired student at a time. <\/span><\/li>\n<li><span class=\"OYPEnA text-decoration-none text-strikethrough-none\">Both the impaired student(s) and good samaritan(s).<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span class=\"OYPEnA text-decoration-none text-strikethrough-none\">Both alcohol and\/or other drugs.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span class=\"OYPEnA text-decoration-none text-strikethrough-none\">All students, regardless of their age or classification.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span class=\"OYPEnA text-decoration-none text-strikethrough-none\">Students who call for help for themselves.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong><span class=\"OYPEnA text-decoration-none text-strikethrough-none\">When granted amnesty, no formal disciplinary action occurs.
