The program provides students with information to make well-informed decisions and be empowered to prevent substance misuse, sexual assault, and interpersonal violence.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Requirements<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The\u00a0AlcoholEdu\u00a0and\u00a0Sexual Assault Prevention for Undergraduates\u00a0courses are assigned to all incoming undergraduate first-year and transfer students in\u00a0August and\u00a0December. Students will receive an email in their\u00a0UTK inbox\u00a0with instructions and links to complete both modules.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>All undergraduate first-year and transfer students are required by the University of Tennessee, Knoxville to complete both courses<\/strong> <strong>before arriving on campus.<\/strong> The course email includes the deadline&nbsp;and class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">AlcoholEdu&nbsp;and SAPU do not&nbsp;require&nbsp;a passing score, but you must complete all modules.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<\/details>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:10px\" courses to take?&nbsp;<\/strong><\/em><\/em><\/summary>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The SAPU course and the&nbsp;AlcoholEdu&nbsp;course will each take approximately one hour to course&nbsp;in multiple&nbsp;sittings<s>,<\/s>&nbsp;but&nbsp;make sure to click on the \u201cnext\u201d button after completing a section before logging out.&nbsp;If you do not progress to the next class=\"utk-wds-accordion__panel-body\">\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>You will need Internet access and audio capabilities.&nbsp;\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>To avoid technical issues, please use any major web browser (e.g., Firefox, Internet Explorer, Google Chrome) released within the previous two years.&nbsp;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>You will access the course by logging into <a href=\"https:\/\/oit.utk.edu\/accounts\/2fa\/\" id=\"https:\/\/oit.utk.edu\/accounts\/2fa\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Duo&nbsp;(two-factor authentication)<\/a> with your AlcoholEdu&nbsp;provides personalized paths through the curriculum so that if you&nbsp;don\u2019t&nbsp;drink, you will receive support and specific information tailored to your choices.
