UT to West Tennessee
The UT to West TN initiative provides safe and affordable charter bus transportation for students living in Nashville, Jackson, Memphis, or the surrounding areas during long breaks (Thanksgiving, winter break, and spring break).
The cost for this service is $55 for each break. Students have the option to travel one-way or round-trip; the fee is the same.

Thanksgiving

Routes and Times
Campus to Nashville/Jackson/Memphis
The buses will arrive in front of Gate 21 at Neyland Stadium at 8:30 a.m. Eastern time for departure. The buses will depart promptly at 9 a.m. Eastern time, so please arrive at least 15 minutes early and no later than 8:45 a.m. Eastern time to load luggage and get on the bus so that the trip will leave on time.
Please note that each passenger is limited to one suitcase to be placed in the baggage area under the bus and one small carry-on item for personal use during the trip.
The buses will travel I-40 westbound and arrive at the Nashville drop-off location at approximately 11 a.m. Central time. After departing from Nashville, the buses will travel to Jackson and arrive at the Jackson drop-off location at approximately 1 p.m. Central time. Finally, the buses will travel from Jackson to Memphis for a final drop-off at approximately 2:30 p.m. Central time.
Memphis/Jackson/Nashville to Campus
The buses will depart from the Memphis pick-up location at 11:30 a.m. Central time, en route to Jackson. The buses will then arrive at the Jackson pick-up location at 1 p.m. Central time. Please arrive at your respective pick-up location about 20-30 minutes early to ensure you have enough time to load your luggage and board the bus. After departing from Jackson, the buses will travel to Nashville and arrive at the Nashville drop-off location at approximately 3 p.m. Central time.
The buses will arrive on campus at approximately 7 p.m. Eastern time and will drop off in front of Hess Hall (1720 Melrose Pl). Please make sure your ride from the drop-off location is prepared to be there on time to pick you up, as the buses are unable to wait with individual students.
