Vol Dining
Committed to providing the Volunteer community with a diverse selection of affordable, great-tasting, and healthy food, Vol Dining has 38 dining locations, nine meal plan options, and free nutritional counseling. We believe the dining experience is critical to your success on Rocky Top, and we are happy to offer easily accessible locations from traditional all-you-care-to-eat dining halls to a mix of restaurants, cafes, and convenience stores to meet your unique needs.
Central Ticket Office
Sells tickets to cultural attractions, events, concerts, community events, as well as Knoxville Area Transit (KAT) bus passes. Note: Big Orange Tix is the provider of Tennessee Athletic games and tickets.
Financial Aid & Scholarships—One Stop
Provides a centralized source for assistance with financial aid and scholarships.
Hearing & Speech Center
Provides complete evaluation and treatment services for speech, language, and hearing problems while providing clinical education to graduate and undergraduate students.
University Housing
Provides a home away from home for more than 8,000 students, with resources for helping residents experience their best life on campus and meet their personal and academic goals. Manages housing contracts and regulations.
One Stop Student Services
Supports you through centralized help with undergraduate enrollment, academic records, financial aid, and payment. They share information and resources and help answer questions and provide next steps on all things concerning enrollment. They are located on the ground floor Hodges Library and you can submit questions to them through your VolsConnect portal.
Parking & Transportation
Manages parking for Knoxville campus including; garages, surface lots, permits (required), bike registration, special event parking, citation, citation appeals, and associated penalties. Also manages FREE T Bus Transit system including accessible and late-night service.
Post Office
Provides full US Post Office services, including stamp sales; postal box rentals; the processing of parcels, express, registered, certified, and insured mail; and postal money order sales. A campus mail drop is available.
Psychological Clinic
A community-based mental health training clinic that provides both in-person and remote individual and group psychotherapy, and psychological or psycho-educational evaluations. All services are provided by masters and doctoral clinical psychology, counseling psychology or social work students under licensed faculty supervision. Therapy services are provided on a sliding-scale fee basis, and testing services are provided on a reduced-rate, flat-fee basis. All applicants for services must undergo a brief telephone screen to determine suitability for the clinic. Eligible applicants are assigned to a waitlist where they may be picked up, depending on the availability of therapists/evaluators. If we cannot provide services, we will try to provide other campus or community referrals. We do not provide medication management, walk-in, or emergency services.
Student Media
Covers student perspectives with the Daily Beacon, an independent student newspaper, and Ablaze, an independent feminist magazine. The office also houses Lumos Media Services, a student-operated commercial video and photo entity. These official university student entities offer learning opportunities in editing, writing, graphic design, video production, computer applications, advertising sales, marketing, and photography for students who desire collaborative, co-curricular experiences. The Student Publications Board appoints senior editors for the editorially independent publications. Participation is open to all university students in good standing. Applications are available in the Office of Student Media or online.
Student Union Event Services
The Student Union hosts 6,000+ meetings and events a year. Student organizations are the primary users of the spaces bringing a variety of meetings, talent shows, debates, and other function to the space. The Event Services staff assists meeting and event planners in the preparation and execution of those evets.
UCopy

VolCard Office
Produces and manages the university physical and mobileID identification card (VolCard) used to access a wide range of services, including VolCard accounts, meal plans, off-campus merchants, access to designated areas, and more.
VolShop
The VolShop is the official campus store of the University of Tennessee. Comprised of VolShop, VolBooks, VolTech, and VolSnacks, the stores are your go-to for University of Tennessee gifts and apparel, course materials, and technology. Located in the Student Union, our flagship store contains the VolShop and VolSnacks on level G2, and VolBooks and VolTech on level G3.
As a digital-first campus, VolBooks supports the Inclusive Access program, designed to offer more affordable and accessible course materials in a digital format through Canvas. VolBooks also provides print books, calculators, office supplies, bargain books, goggles, and lab coats. VolTech is an Apple-authorized campus retailer that provides desktops, laptops, tablets, and accessories to students, staff, and faculty at educational pricing. Brands like Dell, Lenovo, and Microsoft are also available. VolTech also contains a Computer Repair Center that is open five days a week and offers repair on in-warranty and out-of-warranty Apple products.
While the main VolShop location is housed in the Student Union, several other VolShop stores are also throughout campus. There are gift, apparel, and supplies stores in the University Commons shopping center, on the corner of 17th and Cumberland, in the Art and Architecture building, and in the Team Shop at Gate 21 of Neyland Stadium. You can shop online anytime at utvolshop.com. Students receive a 10% off discount on gifts, apparel, and supplies when they use their VolCard.
All proceeds from the VolShop benefit the Knoxville campus through student scholarships, community outreach, and campus building projects.
