Maintenance Requests can be submitted online by any on-campus resident.*
Please follow the instructions below to ensure your request is received.
*Beacon Hall, Poplar Hall, and Lakemoor Station residents follow different instructions- please see below.
If residents have trouble with system access, they can visit the front desk of their residence hall for assistance.
For emergencies or lock/key issues: visit your front desk for immediate assistance.

New Users: If this is your first time submitting, you must register. Click the arrow next to “Never Submitted a Request? Register Here” Leave the prefilled account number as it is.
Enter your name, phone number, email and create a password. Click “Register”.
NOTE: This is NOT your Net ID and password .
Once complete, you will be directed to the work order entry screen.
- Enter your First and Last Name, verify your email, and phone number. This information will be saved for future requests.
- Select your building – labeled as “Location”
- Select the “Area” where maintenance is needed –
please submit one issue per work order. - Enter your room number – labeled as “area/room number”
- Select the problem type (see back of page for details)
- Enter a “Description” of the issue (give a detailed description of the issue and the location)
- Enter submittal password: “utkhousing”
- Click “Submit” – you will receive an email confirming your order, updates, changes, and completion
