Request Maintenance

Maintenance Requests can be submitted online by any on-campus resident.*
Please follow the instructions below to ensure your request is received.
*Beacon Hall, Poplar Hall, and Lakemoor Station residents follow different instructions- please see below. 
If residents have trouble with system access, they can visit the front desk of their residence hall for assistance.

For emergencies or lock/key issues: visit your front desk for immediate assistance.

New Users: If this is your first time submitting, you must register. Click the arrow next to “Never Submitted a Request? Register Here” Leave the prefilled account number as it is.

Enter your name, phone number, email and create a password. Click “Register”.
NOTE: This is NOT your Net ID and password .

Once complete, you will be directed to the work order entry screen.

  1. Enter your First and Last Name, verify your email, and phone number. This information will be saved for future requests.
  2. Select your building – labeled as “Location”
  3. Select the “Area” where maintenance is needed –
    please submit one issue per work order.
  4. Enter your room number – labeled as “area/room number”
  5. Select the problem type (see back of page for details)
  6. Enter a “Description” of the issue (give a detailed description of the issue and the location)
  7. Enter submittal password: “utkhousing”
  8. Click “Submit” – you will receive an email confirming your order, updates, changes, and completion
