CCR coordinators seek solutions for students dealing with mental health, academic, relationship, financial, and other stressful crises. We empower students to break down barriers, clarify needs, and navigate complex processes to get back on track to reach their goals.
The staff of the Center for Care Resilience works to create a safe and nonjudgmental place for students to be understood and supported. They advocate for students within the community and help students develop agency to self-advocate. The staff also works to:
- Foster student learning, success, and well-being while meeting the immediate needs of our campus community
- Hinder violence, suicide, and the effects of substance misuse/abuse and encourage wellness and personal safety
- Educate faculty and staff on the signs of distress and the process to help students
