Basketball Gameday Information

Arriving

Students may start arriving for home basketball games 90 minutes before tip-off for Vol games, and 60 minutes before tip-off for Lady Vols games. Tickets will be scanned until halftime. 

Students will need to have their ticket downloaded and their student IDs to enter the arena. 

Thompson-Bowling Arena and Food City Center has a clear bag policy.

Seating

Student seating for basketball is general admission (no assigned seating) and on a first come first served basis.

  • Vol Hoops—Section 113 up to row 20, 114, 128, 129, and upper sections 323-327
  • Lady Vols Hoops—128 & 129 & upper sections TBD based on demand
  • Sitting together/group seating—To sit together, students should arrive at the arena together. Seats may not be held for late arrivals.
