Football Gameday Information

Once a student has downloaded their ticket to their Google or Apple wallet, they can attend the home game and sit in their assigned seat in the student section. 

No Screenshots will be allowed. Students must download their ticket prior to entering the stadium.

How to Access Your Ticket

Please do this prior to arriving at the student gate on game day. 

  1. Open the Tennessee Athletics app and tap TICKETS in the navigation bar.
  2. Sign in to your Tennessee Ticketmaster account using your @vols.utk.edu email address.
  3. Select the image titled “FB STUDENT TICKET – OPPONENT” to locate your ticket.
  4. Tap View Barcode, then tap Add to Wallet to save your ticket to your Apple or Google Wallet.

Note: Your student ticket is digital and a mobile device is your ticket on gameday.

Arriving

Gates open two hours before kickoff, and scanning ends at the start of halftime. Entry gates can get very crowded close to game time. We recommend showing up early to ensure an on-time entrance to the game. Student will have their own entrance near gate 10. See the videos and images below for the gate location.

Students will need to have their ticket and VolCard with them. No screenshots will be allowed. Students must have a ticket downloaded to their phones to access the game.

Neyland has a clear bag policy.

Accessible Entrance

The student gate requires attendees to use stairs to enter the stadium. If you need to enter through a different door for accessibility purposes please contact the Tennessee Athletics Ticket Office at [email protected].

Shown above is the preferred path for students to take to reach the student gate. Reaching the gate by other routes will be more difficult due to traffic from other game attendees. 

Seating

Student seating is located in sections D-K and is reserved seating. Students must sit in their designated seats. 

To sit together, students must form groups. Groups can only be created during the request period of the ticketing process. Learn more about groups on the About Football page.
