About Football

UT Athletics and the Division of Student Life partner together to bring students great memories that last a lifetime. Football is a very popular sport to attend at UT, and we work hard to ensure that students who want to enjoy that experience have an opportunity during the season to do so.

Overview

  1. Tickets are $20 for eligible students wanting to attend home games. Students must have been assessed any part of the Student Programs and Services fee to be eligible. All full-time on campus students are assessed this fee.
  2. For some games, students can request guest tickets to games. Ticket pricing for guest tickets are face value of the tickets, and vary by game. See more on guest tickets below.
  3. Student tickets are located in sections D-K in Neyland. This area has bench seating and holds approximately 11,500 people. If you need accessible seating or other accommodations, please contact Justin Brooks at jbrook82@utk.edu or 865-974-4890.
  4. Eligible students must request tickets during the request window, be drawn in Claim 1 or Claim 2, and purchase their tickets before the game. If tickets remain after the claim periods, they may be offered on a first-come, first-serve basis in open sales. Learn more about the claim periods and open sales below.
  5. Students can opt in on the Student Portal to get reminders about when to request football tickets.
  6. Additionally after students have requested a ticket, emails will be sent to inform students of where they stand at each step of the process.
  7. Once students have been selected and have purchased their tickets, students will need to take specific steps on gameday to enter the stadium. Arriving at the stadium early is the best way to ensure you do not miss any of the game.
