Basketball Gameday Information

Arriving

  • Student will need to enter through Gate A. See the seating map below for it’s location.
  • Doors open for men’s basketball 90 minutes before tip-off, and 60 minutes before women’s basketball tip-off. Tickets will be scanned until halftime.
  • Students will need to have their ticket downloaded or printed and their student IDs to enter the arena. 
  • Thompson-Boling has a clear bag policy.

Seating

Student seating for basketball is general admission (no assigned seating) and on a first come first served basis.

  • Men’s games—Student seating for men’s games is located in sections 113–114 and 128–129. Overflow seating in 323–327A if necessary.
  • Women’s games—Seating for women’s games is located in sections 128 and 129 and overflow seating in 323–327A if necessary.
  • Sitting together/group seating—To sit together, students should arrive at the arena together. Seats may not be held for late arrivals.

Note: All basketball tickets will say ‘GA STU GA’ and then a number. This number does not indicate a specific seat or section, it just indicates that you have successfully claimed a student ticket. You can sit anywhere in the student sections with your GA ticket. See the seating charts below for where student seating is located.
