T-Credits are an Athletics loyalty program that rewards students for attending Tennessee Athletics events and campus events outlined on the Tennessee Athletics App. Earning T-Credits improves your chances of being selected to purchase Football tickets using a point-based lottery system. The more points you earn, the better your chances of being selected for a ticket!
Students new to UT in the fall will be able to access their Rocky Top Rowdies account in mid-August.
How to Earn T-Credits
T-Credits are earned by participating in specific athletic and campus events.
Which events earn T-Credits?
- All T-Credit earning opportunities are listed in the Rocky Top Rowdies section of the Tennessee Athletics app. New opportunities are added on a regular basis.
- T-Credits earning opportunities will only be available during active class periods. There will not be any T-credit earning opportunities during breaks, including fall, winter, spring, and summer break. Winter and summer breaks begin on the day after final exams end.
- T-credits are only issued for home games, on-campus events, and designated engagement opportunities and initiatives.
- For basketball games, T-Credits will only be awarded for non-conference games.
How do I earn my T-Credit at the event?
- T-credits are earned by scanning into a ticketed event, checking into the geofence for non-ticketed events, or completing a specific action within a given time period.
- Students must complete all steps outlined in the event card, if special instructions are outlined on the Tennessee Athletics app, to earn T-Credits.
- Students must attend the event in order to earn the T-Credit.
- If students are unable to check in using the geofence, they must go to the fan experience tent for assistance and to ensure a T-Credit is awarded.
- T-Credits are non-transferable.
How many T-Credits can I earn at an event?
- The maximum number of T-Credits that can be earned per event is one (1).
- If two T-Credit earning events are starting concurrently, students will only be eligible to earn T-Credits for one event (whichever event they attend first).
- T-Credits are not earned when tickets are sold out.
- If a ticketed event is sold out, you will not earn a T-Credit for attendance.
- T-Credits can be deducted for unused tickets.
- If you receive a ticket and do not attend three consecutive games of the same type, a T-Credit will be deducted from your account. You can cancel your ticket up to 48 hours before the event without penalty.
- University administrators have the right to adjust your credits if the aforementioned policies are not followed.
- T-Credit earning opportunities are determined on a case-by-case basis.
- Athletics is responsible for determining what athletic events earn T-Credits and the number associated with each event.
- The Division of Student Life is responsible for determining what non-athletic events will earn T-Credits.
- Athletics and Student Life reserve the right to determine the time period for which credits can be earned throughout an event, as it is the expectation that students are attending events for a substantial period of time.
T-Credit Eligibility
Only eligible students can earn T-Credits. You’re eligible if you:
- Are in good standing with the university conduct system;
- Are in good standing with the university financially;
- Are in good standing with Big Orange Tix and Athletics
- Have been assessed the Student Program and Services (SPFS) Fee
Eligibility to earn T-Credits does not guarantee eligibility to purchase Football and Basketball tickets.
How are T-Credits accrued?
Continuing students can accrue T-Credits until they either graduate or are unenrolled from the university.
- Transfer students, freshmen, and first-year graduate students begin their enrollment at zero (0) T-Credits.
- Students who enroll in a graduate program immediately following the semester in which they complete their undergraduate degree will retain their accrued T-Credits, consistent with any student-wide reductions
- With the exception of the annual adjustment, fully enrolled students will maintain their T-Credits while studying off campus for opportunities such as co-ops, internships, study abroad, student teaching, etc.
- When a student withdraws, unenrolls, or graduates from the university, T-Credits are forfeited.
- For the sake of T-Credit retention, continuous enrollment is defined as having no more than a one-semester lapse in enrollment.
