Asian American Association

The Asian American Association (AAA) at UT promotes awareness of Asian American issues, serves as a representative voice of the Asian American community, celebrates the diversity and commonalities of Asian Americans, and provides a social support network to our members.

African Student Association

The African Student Association (ASA) is committed to developing unity, strength, and community among African and non-African students, working to raise awareness about African culture and issues, as well as clarify misconceptions and educate people about Africa.

The Black Cultural Programming Committee (BCPC) develops and presents programs and activities that enhance public awareness of African-Americans and their accomplishments and fosters an atmosphere for the interaction and unity of African American students within the university community.

Brothers United for Excellence (BUE) provides academic support, and professional and leadership resources, as well as creates space that encourages a sense of self and fellowship among undergraduate men of color at UT.

The purpose of the Latin American Student Organization (LASO) is to increase the interest and awareness of all students in the Latin culture, to be active in the Hispanic community through volunteer activities, and to encourage diversity on the UT campus.

The National Association for the Advancement of Colored People (NAACP), UTK Chapter informs students of the problems affecting African Americans and other racial and ethnic minorities while advancing the status of the Knoxville community and developing intelligent and proactive youth leadership.
