Vols in Student Affairs Program
All students are welcome.
The Vols in Student Affairs program aims to increase the number of traditionally underrepresented professionals in the student affairs field and introduce student affairs to others who may be interested in a career in the industry. The program is for undergraduate students and offers a unique internship model with opportunities for students to network with peers, participate in professional development on and off campus, and engage with staff and faculty at UT to learn more about student affairs.
Academic Year Program
The Vols in Student Affairs (VSA) Undergraduate Program offers students who are interested in a career in higher education an exceptional opportunity to engage in leadership development, foster academic growth, and participate in meaningful involvement within our campus community.
Summer 2026
The Vols in Student Affairs summer internship program will take place on campus this summer. All internship positions include a $2,000 stipend, housing in an on-campus residence hall, and $200 to be used in campus dining halls and retail dining locations.
Applications from UT students will open in March of 2026 and there will be various internship opportunities available. Students interested in the VSA summer internship program should submit an application, including resume. Please send questions to studentlife@utk.edu.
