Vols in Student Affairs Program

The Vols in Student Affairs (VSA) program partners with offices across the University of Tennessee, Knoxville to facilitate mentor-mentee relationships that encourage academic, professional, and personal development. VSA seeks to provide undergraduate students educational opportunities in a variety of focus areas in the field of higher education.

VSA consists of a cohort model, one-on-one meetings with mentors and mentees, professional development, workshops, and networking opportunities. Students are matched with mentors that reflect their areas of interest.

Student Application Process

If you are interested in becoming part of our program, please complete the interest form. The information provided will be used to match you with a mentor on campus.

Mentors

Mentors play a critical role by engaging students in mentoring and networking experiences, providing them with knowledge, insight, and understanding of professional opportunities available in student affairs and higher education. Mentors and mentees should meet at least once a month.
