Professional Fellowship Program
The Professional Fellowship program provides full-time Student Life staff with the opportunity to gain professional experience in a different department or functional area in Student Life.
Staff Engagement & Development Committee
The Staff Engagement and Development Committee (SEDC) is a team of Student Life staff members that plan and implement a variety of opportunities for staff to connect with others, develop personal and professional skills, and recognize the accomplishments and work of division staff.
Culture of Assessment
The Division of Student Life fosters a culture of assessment and continuous improvement to provide high-quality experiences to our students and staff. Student Life Effectiveness provides professional development opportunities for staff to learn and apply assessment best practices and share the impact of their work.
The Student Life Summit is a 1-day conference open to all Student Life staff and friends of the division or UT staff in adjacent responsibility areas. The agenda features presentations, workshops, and discussions. The Summit allows staff to share their successes and challenges, learn new skills from their peers, and engage in conversations pertinent to Student Life at UT.
