Professional Interests
While I enjoy working with a wide variety of clients, I have the most experience in working with emerging adults and young professionals. I enjoy working with students presenting with stress, anxiety (generalized and social), depression, neurodivergence, and trauma.
Theoretical Orientation
I believe that therapy should be a personalized and collaborative experience, and that the client knows themselves best. As a result, I practice an integrative style, focusing on person-centered and humanistic approaches while utilizing techniques that are appropriate to client needs. A staple in my work is the use of emotion focused therapy (EFT), and I strive to create a safe environment within the therapy room.
Personal Interests
When I am not at work, I can be found at home cuddling with my dog and occasionally being graced with the presence of my cat. On the weekends I enjoy being cozy at home, often watching video essays on YouTube or playing video games on my computer and Switch.
