Professional Interests

I started out my career at the University of Tennessee as a front line representative with the Student Counseling Center and moved into the office manager position as of April of 2022. I have always been involved with caring for others in some capacity throughout my life and I wanted to be able to help support those that are doing the work within our campus community. I find fulfillment in empowering others, helping others see their worth and value for themselves, and feeling accomplished in the support I can provide for others within that same mission.

Personal Interests

Outside of the SCC, you can find me doing photography with my husband, playing video games, crocheting or reading. I unwind with any of the above or by diving into music and playing the piano to get my mind off things; my cat Paisley (Maine Coon mix) normally joins in for those sessions as well. I enjoy hiking with both our dogs, Sancha (Chihuahua) and Lucy (Golden Retriever). Random favorite things of mine: Leaving Time, by Jodi Picoult, the Myst game series, Ladies & Tangents podcast, and most anything by Debussy.
