The Doctoral Internship in Health Service Psychology at the Student Counseling Center (SCC) has requested inactive status with the Commission on Accreditation and is not accepting applications. Our internship program prepares interns as strong generalists for entry-level doctoral positions in the practice of health service psychology. Potential applicants will be assessed based on, but not limited to, the following criteria: Clinical, supervision, and professional experience, cover letter, essays, and letters of recommendation.

  • Enrolled in an APA or CPA accredited doctoral program in counseling or clinical psychology
  • Completion of all required course work
  • Minimum of 300 direct clinical contact hours
  • Minimum of 3 years of graduate training
  • Applicants must pass comprehensive exams by the ranking deadline
  • Approval of dissertation proposal is strongly preferred
