Student Aquatic Center
The Student Aquatic Center (SAC) provides a full range of resources for both the advanced and beginning swimmer.
Amenities
The facility features two Olympic-size swimming pools. The indoor pool includes a separate diving well with four 1-meter and 3-meter springboards. All of the pools are heated and available for the use of students, faculty, staff and guests.
Within the SAC are men’s and women’s shower and locker areas. Participants are encouraged to bring their own towels and locks; however, these can be checked out from the SAC front desk. Lockers can be rented for the semester or year by RecSports members.
A validated UT ID or RecSports membership card is required to use the Student Aquatic Center.
Indoor Pool

Outdoor Pool

- Open seasonally when weather permits
- Adjacent to the Tennessee Recreation Center for Students (TRECS) — upper pool deck access with outdoor patio overlooking the pool
- Perfect for laps, lessons, or just soaking up the Tennessee sun
Both pools are heated and open to UT students, faculty, staff, and guests. A valid UT ID or RecSports membership is required.
