Chapter Coaching

The Office of Sorority and Fraternity Life staff is determined to ensure that chapter leaders and members feel valued and supported through interactions with our entire team. All chapters and councils have direct contact with their respective council advisors and graduate assistants; additionally, they will also have a chapter coach to help maintain accountability with the Standards of Fraternal Excellence (SOFE) as well as general chapter operations throughout the semester.

Roles of Chapter Coaches

  • Support and advise assigned chapters through SOFE and chapter operations.
  • Maintain relationship and contact with chapter president or assigned delegate.
  • Meet with chapter presidents at least two times a semester.
  • Collaborate with council advisor, inter/national headquarters, advisors, and other university departments to best support chapter.
  • Provide knowledge, assistance, and resources available on/off campus.
