Open Positions

Coordinator for Office of Sorority and Fraternity Life (Posted: 1/9/2025)

  • Serve as primary advisor for the Interfraternity Council
  • Assist with the recruitment and selection process of council officers
  • Coordinate chapter membership recruitment and intake process
  • Serve as resource for students, parents/families, faculty/staff, and community and headquarters partners on issues related to sorority and fraternity life
  • Assist in the provision of OSFL programs designed to strengthen members, leaders, advisors, and supporters in areas of leadership, prevention, health and safety, multicultural competency, and organizational responsibilities
  • Maintain roster and grade report records for chapters, attend regional and national conferences with students, and assist with Division of Student Life and Leadership & Engagement staff initiatives.
  • A review of all applications will begin immediately and will continue until the position is filled.
  • Anticipated start for this position is Spring 2025

House Director Positions

Fraternities: Each fraternity with a house employs a house director. The selected individual reports to the Fraternity House Corporation and will live in the fraternity house.

Minimum qualifications include a bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience. The house director may not be a current undergraduate student. The house director is not an employee of UT or OSFL. However, this position is available to graduate students and can be combined with an assistantship on campus.

Sororities: Each sorority with a house employs a house director. The selected individual reports to the sorority house corporation and will live in the sorority house.
