Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. is dedicated to leadership, scholarship, and service.

As the first intercollegiate fraternity for African American men, it upholds a legacy of social justice, community activism, and academic excellence. The UT Knoxville chapter actively engages in campus life and the local community, leading initiatives focused on education, voter registration, and economic empowerment. Members strive to embody the fraternity’s core values of manly deeds, scholarship, and love for all. Through service projects, mentorship programs, and cultural events, Alpha Phi Alpha emphasizes academic achievement and fosters strong brotherhood, leaving a lasting impact on both UT Knoxville and the wider community.
