Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., is dedicated to public service, academic excellence, and empowering African American women.

The UT Knoxville chapter upholds this legacy of sisterhood, social justice, and community engagement. Members address issues like educational development, health advocacy, political involvement, and economic empowerment through various programs and service projects. These include voter registration drives, mentorship programs, and health awareness campaigns. Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. also emphasizes academic achievement, supporting members in excelling academically and fostering leadership on campus and beyond, all while making a meaningful community impact.
