By engaging in meaningful conversations and fostering a spirit of collaborative siblinghood, Meeting in the Middle creates opportunities for UTK sorority and fraternity members to develop group dynamics that promote an inclusive culture rooted in care and respect.
Goals
Are you interested in developing relationships and partnerships with members from all four councils? If so, participating in Meeting in the Middle is the perfect opportunity for you! Selected members of all four councils will meet five times during the semester to learn about each of the four councils and how to best create relationships that support one another. Learning Outcomes
- Participants will examine how their values, lived experiences, and social identities influence their leadership style and group interactions.
- Participants will identify strategies to create a sense of belonging and respect in peer-based organizations.
