Each spring semester, members at every level of leadership from all of our Councils join together to focus on developing their skills in the context of the sorority and fraternity experience. Now, more than ever, we need solid leadership to guide our organization and our community.
The Greek Leadership Course (ELPS350) is worth two credit hours, is part of the University Leadership minor, and can also be used as a general elective. An additional one-credit is optional for interested students. Instructor approval is required, and space is limited.

What Do Past Students Say About the Course?
“You don’t need an official title in your chapter to be a leader. This class taught me how to be that leader without a title and how to use relationships and my actions to achieve something for the greater good.” Malachai Dansinger (Spring 2023), Phi Gamma Delta
“My biggest takeaway was how much I learned about myself during this class! I was really able to break down how I lead and what values mean the most the me while I was in my first semester as a chapter president.” Sophia Brechtel (Spring 2023), Alpha Chi Omega
“There are many people in Greek life that care a great deal about their particular chapter, and I found that very cool. That’s not something you get to see from others very often unless it’s someone in your own chapter. Seeing other people’s dedication to their chapters was awesome.” Cole Hubbard (Spring 2023), Phi Gamma Delta
“Coming out of this class, I actually feel like a strong and competent leader who can make changes in my community. This class has been one of my biggest blessings and one of my top 3 experiences of college so far. I quite literally would not be who am I today without taking this class and I’m grateful every day that I did. I’ve learned so much about myself and words will never do justice how much I loved this class.” Mia Plankey (Spring 2023), Delta Delta Delta
“Everyone brings something different to the table, and you have to figure that out if you want to be a good, effective leader. Finding what your members are passionate about and understanding that everyone finds different value in different aspects of this community. This is not something that I would have ever thought about if it weren’t for this class, and I think that it has changed the way that I view my leadership roles in the community and especially within my Chapter.” Auden Van Laeken (Spring 2023), Pi Kappa Phi
